Description

This is a special itinerary along the Via Chiantigiana, a panoramic road that leads to one of the most beautiful and renowned areas of Italy, Chianti. In 1716 Grand Duke Cosimo III de’ Medici defined the geographical perimeter of Chianti, the area where an extraordinary product, Chianti wine, could and should be produced. After more than 300 years this land located halfway between Siena and Florence is still the best territory devoted to the production of excellent wines. Come with us to discover the beauty of this part of Tuscany full of nature, small villages, fortifications, Etruscan tombs, parish churches and breathtaking landscapes. During the tour we will stop at two wineries for wine tastings of Chianti Classico wine.
